Make Beads with Air Dry Clay

This project is so simple and meditative. Your 3+year olds will love to make their own beads from this clay. After they dry, they can be painted and strung into lovely handmade jewelry.

Your little one will grow those fine motor skills (important for writing later on) by rolling beads out of clay and pressing a needle through to make the hole. Turn on some relaxing music and sit down with your little artist while they work so you can reap the benefits of this therapeutic art play, too.

Air dry clay is such a lovely tool to have in your home-with-kids toolkit. I hope you find some time for bead making with your littles soon. Have fun!
