Kid Art Storage Hack

None of us has the capacity to save every single artwork our children create. When my eldest was a little guy my aunt suggested this genius method she used with her children to save and store her kids’ artwork.

Simply get yourself a big three ring binder and some page protectors to store favorite artworks throughout your child’s early years. Easy peasy, right?

I keep a sampling of artworks from my little artists’ different developmental stages, and make notes of the age/date/comments from the artist. The rest goes in the compost/recycling after its display time on the wall.

The result is a nice chronological book of each artists’ work. My eldest loves looking back at his past artworks, and so does his mama.

I hope this little tip helps you keep your space more organized as you facilitate meaningful art making with your kiddos!
